"I have just returned home to the UK after a tough Giro which sadly ended in illness, meaning I couldn’t race the last day," says Paul.
"Up to this point I had been riding 23rd overall which was promising, looking for that top 20. I had also had some good individual stage rides including a 16th.
"A few weeks before then, I had my best ride of the season so far at Memorial Tortoli, a tough Italian National where I was in the break all day only to attack again late on and come 2nd."
Paul is heading back out to Italy this month to compete with the rest of the team in the Giro Valle d'Aosta, from 11th - 15th July.
Here are a couple of Paul's blogs about his recent races.
